About Culinary Genius
Meet Chef Rasheedah – The Culinary Genius Behind the Art
Born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Charleston, Chef Rasheedah’s passion for food started at just seven years old, learning the rich traditions of Southern and Southwestern cuisine from her mother and grandmother. With over 15 years of professional experience, she has worn many hats in the industry—pastry chef, custom cake designer, bartender, hostess, server, manager, and restaurant owner.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta with an associate degree in Culinary Arts Management, Chef Rasheedah has built a name for herself as an innovator in the culinary world. For 14 years, she has operated her custom cake business under her alter ego, Cupcake Queen Bee, crafting edible works of art for celebrities like 2 Chainz, Nas, and Michael Blackson, as well as Atlanta families and businesses.
Her journey took a pivotal turn in 2020 when she hosted one of Atlanta’s largest pop-ups the weekend before the world shut down, then pivoted to meal prepping for families. She later launched a cloud kitchen restaurant in West End Atlanta, continuing to bring her creative vision to life. Known for fusing food with art, she hosts public cake decorating classes, pop-ups, and corporate events, sharing her expertise with aspiring culinary artists.
